Safe bowling

What do they say about best-laid plans?
Yes, we had plans. But, for now, nothing is as it was. Below are the rules for safe bowling, and, to stay in touch with your bowling buddies, check out our facebook page!

Bowling times
Daily "draw" is Monday through Saturday, 12:30 pm, through April 30 and 9:30 am from May 1st.

The green is open for bowling, weather and light permitting, any time you can get a bowler or two to join you.

P.S. I heard that Bonnie and Mark and Bob S all can be contacted on short notice for a game. Find their contact info in the Green Book.

Safe Bowling

Lawn Bowling Rules
Of course, these are subject to change as county-wide regulations change. The underlying guideline is to not spread cooties through contact or through particles in the air. You're keeping your friends safe. They're keeping you safe. AND we're making sure the county won't close us down:

Lawn Bowling Club Health & Safety Rules as of November 24, 2020
The following are the simplified rules for safe bowling. The goal is to make sure everyone stays safe. Most importantly, maintain at least 6 feet distance as much as possible, and wear masks at all times. Keep shared contact to an absolute minimum. Keep your hands clean before touching anything someone else might touch and don't touch your face if you've touched anything someone else has touched.

JACK - Only one person (Lead or Skip) may touch the Jack.

RAKE - Only one Lead will do all raking.

SCOREBOARD - One person will be assigned to maintain the score.

MATS - One lead will be chosen to place the mat and one skip to remove it. Since two people are touching the mat, please note that hands should be frequently disinfected.

DAILY DRAW - In place of the daily draw, all teams (singles, cut-throat or pairs) will be assigned.

BOWLS – If you own your bowls, take them home with you. If you use club bowls, leave them out so Jim K can sanitize and put them away.

BENCHES - Bring your own chairs, as the benches will not be available. Have fun and be safe!
