Here are some simple instructions for setting the jack.
This gives you a lot more information about setting the jack. It also describes bowling on a crowned green. It's totally inappropriate for us (it looks sort of like trying to bowl a spider but with several different games, each with it's own jack, around the green and a pitcher's mound in the middle)
